Welcome to Information System

Information System is made up of a group of friends and co-workers. We all share a desire to give something back to the community, and since we spend a lot of time in cyberspace, whether for work or personal reasons, we felt it only proper to do so on the internet. We have some things in common, as most of us work for Awev Trading Co, LLC, yet we also have some other things in common - other than being human . The main thing we do share is a desire to make available to others what we have learned along the way.

Some of us like the great outdoors, while others can not do without the creature comforts of home for more than a few moments (the time it takes to walk to/from the car). We all can agree that we like pizza, just not on the type - veggie, meat deluxe, Hawaiian - and we also agree on the need to eat. We can't decide if we should start a bowling team or not, so some things just don't get done in the way we anticipate. We all agree on Women's Rights, just not to what extent (does the guy get the door or not, should women be allowed in combat - and not just a supporting role behind the lines?). You will see we are just like you, with our own personalities, writing styles, likes and dislikes, etc.

Awev Trading Co, LLC is the main sponsor of this site. Those of us that work for them are allowed to take some time - on the clock - to start some basic research, like finding out if a subject we are interested in would be popular with the 'net community. If it appears that it will be of value (not like how to scratch and sniff a perfume magazine insert) then we are allowed to work on it in more detail between our regular projects and tasks. We know that we can't provide everything, even if we are experts and respected professionals in our given field, we just don't know it all (as much as we hate to admit it ).

A little bit about Awev Trading Co, LLC - the people funding this project. They are mainly an on-line retailer, specializing in quality products for the home, yard, and automobile, at prices below retail. While they are in business to make money, they don't feel a need to make it hand over fist, just enough to show a small profit, invest it back into the community and company, and remain in the black. Charity is what they consider to be the greatest Christan virtue, and so they are making this site available to all. Yes, you will find us providing links to some of the products that Awev Trading Co, LLC offers, along with Google AdSense ads, as a way to help off-set the time, money, and other cost (hosting and administering it, registering the domain, etc) involved in this venture.
